Types of Slot Games
Not all slot games are the same. Slots are grouped into different types based on their mechanics and features. runex has games from every category.
Traditional 3-reel slots featuring cherry, bar, and 7 symbols. Simple rules and fewer paylines — ideal for new players.
Modern 5-reel slots with theme-based graphics and animations. Most games from Pragmatic Play and PG Soft fall into this category.
A portion of every bet goes into the jackpot pool. Bets from all players across the network build up into a large prize. NetEnt is well known in this category.
The reel size changes on every spin, creating thousands of ways to win. Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus uses this mechanic.
When a winning combination is formed, those symbols disappear and new symbols drop in from above. This gives you the chance to win multiple times in a single spin.
Instead of paylines, wins are determined by clusters of matching symbols (groups of 5 or more). PG Soft's Mahjong Ways is built on this mechanic.
Cricket Formats Explained
Different cricket formats also affect betting markets. When betting on matches like Bangladesh vs India, it is important to understand which format you are betting on.
20 overs per team. A match lasting 3–4 hours. In-play betting is very popular in this fast-paced format. BPL and IPL are played in this format.
50 overs per team. A full-day match. The ICC One-Day World Cup uses this format. Top run-scorer and top wicket-taker markets are most popular for ODI betting.
A match lasting up to 5 days, with two innings per team. This is cricket's traditional format. The draw betting market is only available in Test matches.
A newer format developed in England where each team plays 100 balls. Even faster and shorter than T20.
Popular Leagues: BPL, IPL, BBL (Big Bash League), PSL (Pakistan Super League) — these tournaments offer the highest number of betting markets.

RTP and House Edge Explained
RTP (Return to Player) is a theoretical figure that shows what percentage of total bets placed on a game is returned to players over the long term. For example, a 96% RTP means that on average ৳96 is paid back to players for every ৳100 bet — however, this is an average across millions of spins, not a guarantee for any single session.
House Edge is the opposite of RTP — it is the casino's mathematical advantage. A 96% RTP means a house edge of 4%. The lower the house edge, the more favorable it is for the player. RTP can vary significantly across different game types.
Understanding RTP before you start playing is important because it helps you plan your budget. Games with a higher RTP allow you to play longer, but there is no guarantee of winning in any individual session. Playing responsibly is always the best approach.
Keep in Mind
RTP is a long-term statistic. In the short term, results can be much higher or lower than the RTP. Always play within a set budget.
